The Water Hub: Access to our floating island dock and a large, simple older pontoon boat for lounging near the shore. consider water shoes as you'll likely at least get your feet wet depending on water levels.
Gear Included: 2 double kayaks (with life vests), fishing rods (bring your bait), and 2 hammocks for the ultimate nap.
Note: Lake Travis is a reservoir; water levels fluctuate. Currently, levels are HIGH, offering a natural water entrance. Water shoes are recommended!

Experience a 100% Tap-water Free soak. For a one-time $25 fee (we cover the rest of the tech's normal $90 cost (takes him 1.5 hours)), we will drain, clean, and refill the 3-person hot tub with fresh water from a 500ft deep limestone aquifer.
Note: Natural unfiltered mineral-rich water is great for skin/hair but will appear cloudy due to dissolved limestone which you'll likely see on bottom too. Must request at time of booking.
IMPORTANT DETAILS
Arrival: Entrance depends on recent rain. High-clearance vehicles/SUVs can use the lower entrance; otherwise, expect a short 10-second walk to the door. Please let us know what you're driving!
Nature: Our docks are functional, not "luxury." Herons, ducks, and geese call this home, so expect a bit of authentic lakeside nature. Usually will need to get your feet wet or take a kayak a few feet to dock walkway as lake levels constantly change- dock company only comes every other week.
Boats: Want a yacht/boat rental or a houseboat hang? We have local connections ($100-$250/hr). Just ask! (seasonal)
Please note that there is another home on the property with folks there occasionally, but rest assured, the cabins are separate with no adjoining walls, so you’ll enjoy privacy versus a hotel style. While the properties are nearby, we kindly ask that all guests be mindful of noise and activities to ensure a peaceful environment for both. Usually not a voice can be heard, maybe far off footsteps as the cabin and main house are built of wood.
Parking is available for one car close to the cabin, a 10 second walk.. with additional space up the driveway. Drive down the ramp and enjoy the nature.
For the most part, the main house occupies the left side of the property, while the cabin enjoys the right side, ensuring a bit of space and privacy for all. Only a deck walkway connects the two and it's private for your entrance.
Please also note, lake Travis is technically a reservoir lake- they manipulate the water level at their leisure for energy and crops. Water levels, just like the nature and weather are things which we cannot control. Its gone up AND down many feet in just a week.
We have descriptions on every photo too- we really want the right folks who want this type of experience, not a sterile hotel-like cookie cutter accommodation.
Just reach out should you need anything.
during the peak months, there may be other guests on the over 5 acres. more than enough room to spread out and so far as of March 2026, has only happened twice.
Not luxury or anything super high end, but just about everything you need for a cabin-style retreat. Big Houses Two-Lots-Over on both sides rent for $1500-$2500 a night if luxury or more space is your thing- I can inquire for you for good pricing.
Lots of Flora and Fauna interaction on our side though!!
With a few days and season dependent you should definitely see some of the native Texas hill country beautiful wildlife below.
Birds:
Great Blue Herons, Cardinals, hummingbirds, egrets, Red tail hawk, Mallards, Canadian and Egyptian geese, peregrine falcons, Greater Roadrunners (lots), Belted Kingfishers, Eastern Phoebes, Canyon Wrens, and Lesser Goldfinches

Large hawks, owls, and turkey vultures and Bald Eagles can sometimes be spotted around.

hopefully nice sunny days ahead for you! When it's very close to your trip, if the weather looks poor, you may want to consider checking out some Austin sites as much of what all of us offer out here on lakefront lake Travis, is heavily influenced by the weather. luckily texas has a lot of good sunny days in store all year round !
